I believe that obtaining top rankings in Google is nearly impossible. The competition for page 1 is fierce and it seems daily there is yet one more marketing must have that you must learn this add this take out that add keywords take out key words!!AHHHHHHHHHHHHH then apply to achieve top positions.AHHHHHHHHHHHHH Well I can tell youy now best shoot yourself . Its impossible. Goodgle moving the goal posts every day. Driving me mad cant take any more.Cant sleep, wack the Dog,kick the cat. How can I ever get to the top 10 out of 15,000,00000 sites. Well you think you can make money online? Certainly it's possible?but then Pigs might fly.

So many folks are being duped by marketing guys to buy things that will make you rich over night. Of course it's these guys that are making the money. They sell the tools.

THE GOLD RUSH

Back over 120 years ago something similar was happening with the Gold rush. Millions of Guys were making long and difficult journeys to the Klondike to try their luck in finding gold. They endured terrible hardships and in many cases hunger and death in the cold. In the end the only guys who became rich were the ones selling shovels, selling horses, selling supplies.

The internet analogy is the same. The guys selling you the software, the eBooks, the 'how to' books, the video instructions are the gold rush guys selling shovels and supplies. They are making Big money. This leaves millions of would be "Gold diggers", internet marketers, pretty pissed off.

So is it possible? Can your really pick yourself up by your shoe laces?

The Good news is yes it is possible. But like the Gold rush guys expect a long haul. Those who believe longest, those who work it long hours will make it in the end. You will need to buy Shovels, horses, supplies. Like those far of days there were unscrupulous suppliers, cowboys, fly bye night scams. The good news is there are a lot of good tools for you to choose from. As a novice and would be marketer which to choose. In the long run here is my list of tools every e marketer should have. These tools/software's are the best you can get. They are tools that will give you the chance to succeed, a good chance to make money

1. A great web site is your base your starting point. If you just follow the affiliate web site you are not going far. Others(1000's) will have the same site. So decide a unique site.

2. A great Hosting package Choose badly choose cheap and get poor support you could end up to hang yourself! Here is one of the best . Great prices best service/supportyou need the best support you can get. Its hard at first. Nothing worse than you have a problem and no help from support

3. A good web design software

Simple to use easy to learn

4. A great search engine Optimization/submission software (all in SEO)

5. A good free ad submission software Sub mit your site to 1000's of free ads word wide. Each ad is like a mini web site pointing back to your web site

6. A good directory submission software. Submit links to 1000's of directories

How Much? How Long?

Expect to invest around 500$ in software as out lined above. Buy cheap!! Suffer!!

You should allow around six months absorbing all the software. It will pay you back.Treat it like going back to school. Its great but demanding. Even once you have mastered all the software expect a year on to start seeing the pay checks arrive. Guys that tell you yon can be rich next week, forget it.

There is NO Quick FIX, NO SECRET FORMULAR. If you buy that type of program and approach you will truly make the other guys Rich. Be prepared for the LONG HAUL or stop right here, take up gardening, tap dancing or knitting.
